Exhibition in Trieste


In one of the spaces of the old port of Trieste (Magazzino 26), which was renovated by the Municipality of Trieste for the needs of cultural events, on September 18, 2021, the exhibition of the Nikola Tesla Museum "Nikola Tesla: Man from the Future", was opened in cooperation with the Serbian Cultural Youth Association. The exhibition chronologically shows Tesla's life and various fields of scientific work, from his birth in 1856 in Smiljan, through a year of schooling in Europe, first jobs and innovative ideas, to going to the USA and the most fruitful period of Tesla's work resulting in many inventions, new technical solutions formulated and protected through over 300 registered patents. Data on Tesla's life and key areas of Tesla's scientific work are illustrated by a large number of photographs and documents from Tesla's legacy that are kept today in the Nikola Tesla Museum in Belgrade, and interactive models of Tesla's inventions will attract special attention. The film "Nikola Tesla - Spirit, Work, Vision", which has been translated into Italian, will also be shown within the exhibition space. The exhibition is presented in three languages: Italian, English and Serbian. The exhibition is supported by the Municipality of Trieste, the Consulate of the Republic of Serbia in Italy, the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Serbia, and many other partners from the public and private sectors. The exhibition will be open until October 10, 2021.
