The museum opens its doors to visitors every day except Monday, from 12:00 to 18:00. Expert guides through the exhibition will be organized in Serbian and English language, at the beginning of every hour. The price of the ticket is 500 dinars and the entrance is free for preschool children. Group tours can be organized with prior notice via e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org and phone 011/2433886 from Monday to Friday 10:00-15:00.
Due to the measures in force in order to protect the population from the infectious disease COVID-19, visitors will be able to visit the exhibition setting while respecting the measures of physical distancing and wearing protective masks.
During working hours, we will be playing the documentary movie showing Tesla's life, from his birth in 1856 in Smiljan, through years of schooling in Europe, his first jobs and inventions, to his departure to the USA and the most fruitful period of Tesla's work. number of inventions, new technical solutions formulated and protected through over 300 registered patents.
The permanent exhibition of the museum exhibits personal items that the scientist used every day, instruments from his laboratories, as well as an the urn containing Tesla's ashes, which has been kept in the Museum since 1957 with special reverence. Data on Tesla's life and key areas of Tesla's scientific work are illustrated by a large number of photographs and documents from Tesla's legacy that are kept today in the Nikola Tesla Museum in Belgrade.
The exhibition also shows Tesla's inventions from the end of the 19th and the beginning of the 20th century, which, thanks to their simplicity and universality, are still used today and are part of our modern lives. We invite you to visit us and discover model demonstrations of Tesla's most significant inventions, and especially the high-voltage transformer, in which visitors to the Museum can also participate during expert guided tours.
